Variety Bash
Last Friday the Variety Bash came to visit Bulls Schools to give us cheque to make a basket swing in the junior playground. The bus was funny because it had two fronts, there were bubbles coming out the top and it had propellers for going on the ferry.

On Friday Miss Bailey and Mrs Morris we super proud of the Middle Hub students as almost everyone presented their Passion Project which had been completed for home learning over the last few weeks. It was awesome to see such'creative flair' within the team. Check out just a few below. We also had 'Meet the teacher' on Friday after school which also doubled as the opening of the new fort on the senior playground. Bulls School is very lucky to have such a large outdoor area which is continually being developed. We have a fitness track, covered sand pit, junior playground, senior playground with an eagles nest and a swing and now a fort fit for a king!!!

When we first arrived at the marae we were welcomed on with a karang then after that we went inside the marae and listened to the tangata whenua speak.
After that Papa Doug explained the hongi. A hongi is when you gently press your nose with another person and for a short moment in time you breathe the same air.
Next we had our morning tea then moved into our activities. The activities were string games, rakau, waiata with Papa Doug, myths and legends weaving, poi making, feathers and whanau koru art.
We had shared kai which was served in the wharekai. The lunch was delicious! We had fruit, savories and home baking.
Bulls School walked back to school at the end of the day. We were tired but we had lots of fun.

Last week we started to learn about Pie Graphs. We used the website Create A Graph to display our data. This week we will be conducting our own investigation and displaying the data using a graph of our choice.
